Today\u2019s adventure took me somewhere between Downton Abbey<\/em> and Ghostbusters<\/em> \u2014 the historic, slightly spooky, and totally fabulous Fonmon Castle!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perched quietly in the Vale of Glamorgan, Fonmon looks exactly how a Welsh castle should: grand stone walls, sweeping lawns, and the kind of atmosphere that whispers, \u201csomething happened here a few centuries ago\u2026 and might still be happening now.\u201d<\/em>

Here\u2019s the scoop: Fonmon dates all the way back to the 12th century, we\u2019re talking knights, Normans, and the occasional sword fight for good measure.
